Mom I think I wanna go camping!

So the last few days Nathan has talked about going on a camping trip. He has a list of items we need (like guns to kill the bears!).  So today we got him to list out all the things a boy needs for a camping trip. Here is the list they came up with:
- tent
- smores (smart boys!)
- fire ( we did use a lighter and let them blow the fire out! too hot for a fire tonight)
-backpacks
- poptarts (jacobs idea of course!)
-map (so we know where we are!)
- flashlights
- Guns (to kill the bears!)
-Blankets/pillows
-camping chairs
-a tunnel (???? no clue on this one)

So Dad set out early this afternoon collecting things to take them camping. With the heat and me being 9.5 months pregnant we decided to camp "inside" (I know I know what your thinking but its hot and there are A LOT of frogs in our yard! If i ran into one in the dark this child WOULD be born tonight!) So we set up a 10*11 foot tent in our entry hall. Did it fit yes... and no. But we worked it out. You cant use the gameroom or front door, but hey we are camping!!
Here is our "tunnel entrance"

yes it was dark dad was guiding them through!

One little piggy is hiding... but the two wolves are growling!

More scary stories!

dads scary story!

Me and the boys reading books w/ flashlights!

Nathans long drawn out scary story where animal after animal eats animal.

Time for smores!

Someone shares so sweetly!

AND loves his mama like a good boy should!

more stories and tent time!!!

Just trying to have some special family time before the family dynamics change. The boys are looking forward to doing this outside w/ smores off the fire pit as soon as the weather changes a little bit! I have the map all ready for a treasure hunt for the BIG day! We also shot our guns, Jacob ate a poptart and blew out fire off the hand held lighter (hey I wasnt about to start a fire in the fireplace! Too hot already for this fat girl!

Waiting on Baby Boy #3 arrival any day! Should just add to the craziness that is "The Spence Family".
