Spence boys pics.. Nathan 4, Jacob 3, Trenton 3 months!

I am a proud mama! Although I braved the Photography studio alone w/ 3 kids (not to mention starting 40 mins late.. AND Trenton fell asleep 2 mins before she calls us back.. ) I think they turned out pretty cute! Love these boys!

Nathan "We 3 kings"

Nathan had a Christmas play at school last wed. Their song was "we 3 kings". He did great! The costumes were so cute. We took him out of school early that day and said we were having a "Mommy & Daddy" day with just Nathan. His wishes were to go to chick fil a, eat and play. So that we did. Gigi met us there. Gigi was going to get her teeth cleaned so didnt want to eat and got a milkshake instead. Nathan thought that was  a grand idea and wanted one too! On the way to go get Jacob about an hour after we left chick fil a, Nathan says "Hey momma, Next time we have a mommy & daddy day, can Jacob come too?" I almost started to cry. He sure loves his little brother.

We got home and the boys were opening up little gifts from friends. Jacob got a few more w/ sweet treats and N was looking at them. Jacob grabs three hershey kisses and stands up. He walks to me and gives me one and says "Mom I want to share with you", and then gives one to nathan also and says "I share with you too!"

Melts my heart to see I have raised such loving and considerate young men. Thirty minutes later N pushed J off the couch, then J headbutted N. Sigh.

A angel ornament N made at school! LOL

Jacob and the Head!

So any of you that have spent any time with Jacob, you know he had a virtual helmet. The kid can run into a brick wall at full speed and shake it off. Rarely does he cry over a head wound. Well on Sunday I was in the bathroom getting ready with the baby when I hear Jacob start crying. I suddenly thought something was wrong,  but then I thought it was just Nathan aggravating him. About that time Brian yells "Dawn I need your help" in that run we have a headless child kind of way. I come out of our room to see Brian at the sink with a towel on J's head and blood everywhere. Smarts (as I lovingly call J from time to time) was on the kitchen table trying to "hang monkeys like eddie the elf"(see exhibit a) and stood up into the chandelier. A great look at the puncture!! (see exhibit b)

exhibit a.. see monkeys..and point on chandelier

Exhibit B.. day after "the incident"

Santas early visit!

Every year at our Boehm family reunion Santa and Mrs. Claus come and visit the kids. Jacob was SOOOOO excited to see Santa. Nathan was coming off his sugar high so was a bit moody and little Trenton just loved Santa's snuggles. Was a great visit and reminds the kids they need to be good for the rest of the year! Here are our pics with Santa 2012.
