Cowboys on the Ranch

So this morning we all woke up late. Mrs.Barb invited us out to the Peters ranch to go monkeying around. We finally got going and met them out there. The boys had a blast helping feed the cows and riding around in the mule. We played w/ the puppies, guineas, horses, cows, ducks, geese,  a tortoise, and any other creature out there. The boys were filthy and tired and hot when we left. But they had a blast. Jacob LOVED the cows and pointed and waves just like he does at Gigis house. However... HE HATED THE TORTOISE! He screamed every time it started walking around. It was so funny. He finally got brave standing next to Mr. Peters and moseyed on up to it step by step w/ his new friend. However when Mr. Peters touched it ... he bailed. Here are some pics from our eventful day.

Lauren and baby Ryland joined us for dinner this evening. Jacob went into baby stealing mode again and kept trying to hold ryland. We took them all on the trampoline and were cracking up when Ryland would crawl out of Jacob lap he would say "come back and sit here" and tap his lap. Once again cracked us up!!!

My baby...

So my friend Amy came over last night w/ her 2.5 month old little boy. I, in true Dawn fashion, stole him the first chance I could. Jacob comes right up to me and tries to steal the baby. I am like "No, you are too little... no let him go.... no ... well ok" As soon as I sat Barclay in his lap he was happy. If I tried to take the baby back Jacob freaked out. This went on for 20 mins or so. Cracked us up...
