Update:

nathan being a "book"
Nathan is becoming a funny little man. Tonight he asks for "mimi", his beloved stuffed sheep. Dad says "where did you put her?" Nathans reply "in the garage"  ... we were thinking "what?" .. So i tell Nathan "Show me where". He is walking to the garage and says "behind the door".  I am thinking... what? behind what door?

He walks right out the back door and opens up the shoe storage cabinet door and there is mimi. Sitting on dads work boots. THANK GOD he remembered he put her there this morning. I would have spent hours tearing the house apart to find that stupid toy, and NEVER have found her.

He is so funny too in that i sneezed today and he tells me "MOM COVER YOUR MOUTH!"
I wanted to remind him at least i didn't sneeze in his face like he does to me!!!

Potty training is happening but going slow. He knows he gets attention for bad choices so I am training myself to not repond to it. Its a slow process. You would think a kid who knows what a pentagon is can figure out where/when to go potty. He is too smart for his own good.

We were going to bed sat night and thought it was so funny Jacob was in his room (in the crib) laughing. I thought well he is having a good time.. at least he is not crying. Brian looks at me and says "lets go check on him"

We get up and go into Jacobs room to find Nathan standing and holding onto the crib beating jacob in the head with a teddy bear (hence the laughing). THESE KIDS!

Nathan likes to get out of bed and lay in the shadows of the hall peeking his sheep out around the corner. Most nights(like as I write) he is sleeping in the rug on the hallway floor and I have to scoop him and his animals up and put them in bed. ... what a turkey!

nathan bear and mimi

Jacob:
Jacob has gotten two of his first baby molars, a new big boy bed, and unfortunately learned three new words.  MINE,  STUCK and the other being MOMMA! (note he said it at 13 months nathan didnt say it till 18 months!)

loves his Aggie hat and daddy!
That little stinker is growing fast and watching everything his brother does. He knows that brother gets an M&M for going potty and if he sticks close he can sucker one out of mom too. If big brother gets something, by golly he had better get one too!!

He has been walking since 10 1/2 months, and is now running. He eats ALL DAY LONG. He is a hungry, NON STOP moving little man. He is picking up signing really slow... but non the less we are slowly getting there.
